Job Description


Intel's International Trade Group ,ITG is a global leader in Trade Compliance. Customs and Trade Facilitation team, CTF is a core function of ITG and our mission is to ensure barrier-free trade, protect the Company, optimize trade performance, and reduce costs through best-in-class Customs and Trade Facilitation programs while continually developing our people. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with trade experts in more than 20 countries with in-depth knowledge across all aspects of trade compliance. Candidates will be able to develop global content knowledge by leveraging content experts on country specific requirements and its practical applications. Viet Nam Customs and Trade Facilitation Manager will have the responsibility to: 1. Manage customs and trade facilitation for all cross-border operations in and out Viet Nam, including sites operation activities; shipment issues across the country and escalations. 2. Own country's customs compliance programs such as Authorized Economic Operator, AEO, Export Processing Enterprise 's compliance, EPE, other government agencies requirements, OGAs, Site-wide Customs Training... Ensure regulatory compliance to local duty optimization programs, FTZ, IMMEX, FIZ, etc., valuation, classification, and origin in the country. 3. Partner with Public Affairs group and country's leadership team to drive local trade advocacy proactively in creating local barrier-free trade environment, monitor and interpret changes in local Customs and OGAs regulations; address specific shipment issues, coordinate with local stakeholders, and engage with local Customs. 4. Drive regulatory audit program including self-audit and customs risk assessment, external audit readiness and closure, post clearance recovery program and continuous improvement plan. 5. Be Viet Nam's CTF representatives in Site's Meeting Review Committee for customs compliance decision making. 6.Participate and represent Viet Nam's CTF team, as required in ITG's internal, or country's business unit projects. 7. Be recognized as key and trusted partner for country and business group leaders by delivering strategic trade proposals.

Qualifications


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience in trade or supply chain/logistic compliance, especially AEO, EPE or,
  • Master's Degree and 4+ years' relevant experience or,
  • Experience in leading and implementing regional trade projects is a plus.
  • Communicate clearly, thoughtfully, and accurately. Able to effectively communicate at different levels. Draft writing documents to avoid errors, ambiguities, and misinterpretation. Presents with confidence.
  • Able to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders including regional and global team members, government officers in a highly dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Facilitate decision-making for projects and transactions impacting Viet Nam's customs compliance. Able to escalate relevant customs issues to leadership team or other key stakeholders.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
