Senior Commodity Buyer

Tasks:
- Responsibility for strategic sourcing of assigned commodity parts;
- Managing supply base to include renewal of agreements and assisting suppliers in problem solving and tracking corrective actions;
- Conducting supplier assessments for potential new suppliers;
- Gathering and analyzing supplier data to prepare analysis and recommendation for supplier selection, with focus on sourcing in low-cost countries;
- Inflation / Deflation tracking & analysis & validation & negotiation & price implementations
- Developing and executing sourcing strategies, including achievement of spend reduction targets.
- Responsible for Part Family Strategy execution
Profile:
- At least a bachelor's degree (technical field is preferable);
- Min. 3 – 4 years experiences in purchasing; in automotive production material purchasing would be advantage
- Fluent knowledge of the English language; German would be an advantage;
- Good analytical and negotiation skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- SAP knowledge welcome
