In the role as Planning & Logistics Continuous Improvement Specialist you will be responsible for planning, and replenishment for a part of the production to enable an effective production execution according to demand. You will also play an important role in the logistics department, maintaining systems and performing tasks and activities that support our continuous improvement (CI) processes and culture. Drive the departments zero loss agenda and help with data collection, ensure its accuracy, promote CI progress, and keep track of the department Key Performance Indicator (KPI) scorecards.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Set production plans for part of the production in the plant from a demand and resource perspective.
- Assure right pack and raw material at right time for part of the production to keep optimum stock levels and material flow.
- Provide training on CI tools and techniques. You will also help departments follow our established daily management system (DMS)
- Help teams collect data or extract it from the system to support CI activities and the DMS
- Facilitate root-cause analysis to address identified losses and departmental KPI scorecard gaps.
- Lead Repetitive Flexible Supply (RFS) and Value Stream Map (VSM) workshop to improve the material flow in the plant from an end-to-end perspective
- Establish new work standards to sustain improvement
- Train and qualify colleagues on CI tools and new work standards resulting from CI activities
- Support the implementation of IL6S (Integrated Lean Six Sigma) in the plant
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:
- An understanding of supply chain, either through relevant education or previous work experience
- Attention to details and the production planning process
- CI and high-performance work systems experience
- Strong facilitation and communication skills to support team discussions on CI activities
- Application of lean tools in a factory or operations environment as well as administrative processes
- Ability to manipulate and validate data in manual and automated systems
- Mastery of Excel and other data analytics tools
- Organized and disciplined to support and educate on the DMS process
- Logical and structured thinking to extract insights from data
- Fluency in English is mandatory, Swedish would be an advantage
