To be successful in this role you will:
- Have prior retail sales experience preferably with food
- Be comfortable talking to a broad range of regular customers
- Take pride in presenting our seafood to our customers
- Be observant and learn from each days trading
- Maintain a positive upbeat attitude!
Noosa Seafood Market is open Monday to Friday 9 am to 2 pm.
The daily routine would be:
- Start 8.30 am and help finalize shop display
- Shop opens 9 am
- Serve customers and assist with their selection of fresh seafood
- Weigh and ring up purchases on Wedderburn Scale PLU
- Receive payment in cash or by EFTPOS
- Maintain and restock display cabinets
- General cleaning and housekeeping
- Close up shop 2 pm
- Pull down display and put fresh seafood in coolroom at end of day's trading
- Clean display cabinet & trays and washdown shop,
- Signs in, Lights and Air Con off & Rubbish out
- Finish 2.15/2.30 pm
