Having worked on a busy reception desk you are now looking for a new outlet for your talents and a role where your work can make a real difference. That’s exactly what we can offer you as Receptionist at Comic Relief. We want you to be the public, welcoming face of Comic Relief and ensure the reception function is well run and visitors and callers have a positive experience when they spend time with us.
As Receptionist you will warmly greet on-site visitors and attend to their queries in a timely fashion as well as deal with calls professionally and politely. You will log in guests, manage meeting rooms, organise courier and taxi bookings order office supplies as well as oversee the post. You will also provide secretarial and administrative support when required
You must have experience of being a receptionist or the front line face of an organisation and are used to dealing with the public. This will have given you an understanding of fire evacuations and emergency procedures too. First Aid or Fire Warden qualifications or training would also be useful. You will have good PC skills and are able to provide secretarial and admin support. Highly organised you will have an eye for detail and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
