My client based in London looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to come on board and analyse project information/systems in order to prepare required project reports clearly and efficiently making relevant recommendations and to guide business units in the areas of data cleansing and data transformation.
The IT Business Analyst will lead the analysis and design sys! tem migrations to and processes in collaboration with appropriate business units, and produce documentation of systems and data migration according to existing corporate standards and within project management methodology.
The Role of IT Business Analyst
- Guide and assist in the production of the test strategy, test scripts, User Acceptance Testing, and change implementation.
- lead in the analysis for the migration from Open Accounts to Sun Accounts V6.1, ensuring the business users are fully involved in the sign off of migration requirements.
- Create and maintain all technical documentation for applications.
- To maintain good professional relationships with customers and service providers.
- To prepare and present solutions to business users and other non- technical staff.
- Work closely with technical staff and external suppliers to ensure technical solutions are fit for purpose.
- Evaluate and gain us! er acceptance of KPI and PI reporting to Peabody standards.
- Projects delivered to agreed timescales, budgets specification and within a formal project management methodology, achieving identified business benefits.
- Efficient use and management of consultants, demonstrate value for money. Measurable improvements in the performance of business units and customer satisfaction.
- All analysis work clearly articulated, documented and signed off by key business users in line with IT standards. Good cooperation and collaboration with business users and IT development. Feedback from the business of customers' satisfaction.
- A good understanding and experience of modelling tools and languages. E.g. UML, Swim Lanes, data flow diagrams, ERD.Excellent demonstrable customer management skills.
- Expert, current and in-depth skills in Process Analysis, Business Ana! lysis, bespoke solutions, off-the-shelf package configuration.
- Experience of non-functional analysis and performance testing.
- Experience of defining and managing Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.Experience of proactively managing conflict between different business units, challenging current process to reach win-win solutions to problems.
