HR Manager - Full or Part Time

My client is looking for a HR Manager for a 9 month maternity contract to start on 7 th of April 2014 â€" the role is based in Oldham .
My client is flexible on the role been either full time or 3/4 days a week, salary on offer is £35/£38k + car allowance of £5/£6k (Pro rata if part time).
The position will involve allot of travel for meetings which could! be based in either East Midlands/Leeds/Newcastle or London .
You will need to be pragmatic individual who has the capacity to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide generalist HR service to managers covering a full scope of compensation and benefits, management development, resource management, employment law and employee relations.
Coach/train managers to enable them to effectively lead their teams to achieve levels of performance motivation.
Actively participate in Group/Divisional HR projects as appropriate
Support the acquisition of new contracts by writing answers to PQQ HR related questions and attending contract interviews with clients
Manage recruitment retention and succession planning
Under take initiatives that deliver commercial value for example reduce sickness levels and improve staff retention
In conjunction with the HR community, reviews, develops and implements HR Strategy, Policies & Pro! cedures
Keeps up to date with current legislation and best! practice
Supports the divisional business in understanding, implementing and promoting effective people management techniques
Evaluates the divisional business needs and contributes to improving the business performance
To work with business leaders to identify and mitigate risks of business plans in terms of employee relations
Supports line managers on organisational design and culture change issues so they meet the current and future requirements of the divisional business
Encourages continuous improvement and innovative approaches within the divisional business
Manages change initiatives and programme implementation to support the delivery of the divisional business objectives
Monitors service provision and takes action when required to ensure continuous improvement
Supports the divisional business to enable it to manage absence
Takes an active role in implementing HR projects from time to time
