We are urgently looking for two Formwork Designers to join an established team in a design office which produces Formwork equipment layout drawings to meet customer requirements.

Candidates will need to have knowledge of the concrete construction processes, formwork design experience and commercial awareness with the ability to communicate at all levels.

The general requirement for the role is:

• HND or Degree qualifications in civil/structural/mechanical engineering.
• Ability to use AutoCAD effectively.

The ability to analyse formwork and/or scaffold structures and produce calculations to verify would be a plus

The role will be demanding and require individuals with commitment and drive to succeed. You will be working to the highest standards of safety, producing innovative and cost effective solutions and will work with customers and the company's own site teams to develop requirements and derive innovat! ive solutions to meet customer needs.

You will also b! e involved in checking structures to ensure the highest levels of quality and compliance with design requirements.

All candidates should be numerate with a good level of IT skills (specifically AutoCAD).

Reporting to the Formwork Design Director, the day to day duties of the Formwork Designer/Engineer will include:

• Ensuring that the design process is followed and applied in accordance with the design control procedure.
• Ensuring that all designs are produced to the right solution and are practical, safe and competitive
