We are currently looking for qualified Learning Support Assistants for full and part-time opportunities throughout Durham and Teesside areas. The roles involv! e offering support to students who have moderate to severe learning and/or behavioural difficulties. Some of the work could be on a 1:1 basis and some could involve taking small groups for intervention work.
Assignments will vary between long term supply contracts and day to day short term cover and will be tailored to your availability and personal requirements. Full time and part options are available.
For this role you should have an NVQ 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or have a minimum 6 month proven track record working in a SEN setting. Other qualifications that would be useful are Team Teach or CALM certificates.
