Grade 1: £14,202 per annum (incremental progression through successful completion of the programme)
This is a fantastic oppo! rtunity to get your foot onto the career ladder and gain an insight into the work carried out by our IT Department. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in Information Technology.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support for day-to-day activities within the IT department, including team working, providing excellent customer service and assisting with the co-ordination of call resolution.
You will receive on the job training that will cover all aspects of the role and you will also be required to commit to one day per week at Abingdon & Witney College. On completion of the three year training programme you will gain an Intermediate and Advanced Apprenticeship (NVQ III) in Information Technology.
In this role good verbal communication skills are required as this is a customer facing role. The successful candidate will have good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office at a minimum. You will be a team pla! yer who has a flexible approach to work and demonstrate an und! erstanding of good customer service. For this apprenticeship you will need a minimum of 4 GCSE’s grade C or above, including English and Math’s.
