Victoria Walker at CK Science is recruiting for an Assistant Technical Co-ordinator to work on a full time, permanent basis with a leading waste m! anagement company in South Yorkshire.
As Assistant Technical Co-ordinator, the main purpose of your role will be to maintain and develop relationships with waste producers and their agents so as to maintain and improve sales revenues and profits.
Further responsibilities of this Assistant Technical Co-ordinator position will be:
- To ensure that the assessment of sales enquiries are accurate and timely.
- To ensure that production of invoicing and other data to monitor sales progress is accurate and timely.
- To ensure that technical control activities are carried out and conform to legal requirements.
- To ensure that activities with regard the movement of wastes to other disposal facilities conform to legal requirements, are at costs within budgeted expenditure and/or as cost effectively as possible and comply with good practice.
- To maintain flexible working arrangements in order to maximise operational efficiency! .
- To maintain punctual timekeeping and regular attend! ance to achieve maximum operational efficiency and avoid additional or unnecessary costs.
- Degree or equivalent in Chemistry - preferred
- HND or equivalent in Chemistry - minimum requirement
- Office based customer service experience required
- Experience gained in the waste industry preferred
- Basic IT Skills
- Reliable
- Flexible
- Good communication skills
- This is an office based role
- Hours are likely to be 8am - 5pm but may be as early as 7am and as late as 5.30pm. Flexibility with regards to working hours will be required as shifts can change at short notice
- Salary will be depending on experience
