The Royal Society of Chemistry is the largest organisation in Europe for advancing the Chemical Sciences and we have continued to grow in terms of staff numbers and international scope. Working in a team of !   three, this is a varied administration role supporting teams within our Communications, Policy, and Campaigns department. We are looking for an administrative superstar who is flexible, able to work to deadlines and can effectively manage a variety of different tasks. Day to day activities 
Involvement in administrative projects such as supporting RSC Educational competitions and the Prizes and Awards portfolio 
Updating and adding information onto department web-pages 
Managing shared mailboxes and responding to queries 
Arranging meetings for staff and visitors, including assisting with the preparation of meeting agendas and papers 
Supporting financial processes; producing invoices and processing staff and visitor expense Essential Skills and qualifications 
Previous administrative experience is required 
Good organisational and time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines 
Must be efficient and highly competent !   in the use of Microsoft Office 
Ability to work as part of !   a team 
Based in Cambridge, UK. Salary £20,436 - £22,707. Closing date 26 August 2013. Vacancy reference no. 13-135.
