We have an opportunity to drive your career forward and contribute to the continued success of one of the UK’s most successful retailer who are looking to strengthen their commercial trading team by recrui! ting a talented Junior Buyer for their key Health and Beauty category.
Ideally you will exposure in a FMCG Retail Buying environment, possessing a good commercial eye, strong negotiation and analytical skills as well as creative vision. This role requires candidates who are confident and results driven with a can-do approach to all of their work. This position with enable you to develop your expertise in negotiation, strategic planning, range direction and own brand product selection / development in a fast paced retail environment.
Reporting in to the Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own range, including the implementation and delivery of a profitable product range that will maximise sales and increase market-share in what is an exceptionally competitive field. You will also be involved in working with the Buyer on range planning and development to ensure it is s achieved in line with budgetary and time parametres.
The ! successful candidate will need to be available immediately and! be willing to work on a 12 month basis initially, with the possibility of a permanent role resulting.
