As part of our technical advice team you will be a key point of contact for cust! omers. We will look to you to assist customers by post, telephone or email. Along with providing technical and specification advice on ICI / AkzoNobel brands and products, you will also handle and resolve customer complaints by agreeing and negotiating settlements that work for the customer and the business. Important will be the ability to follow our processes and procedures as well as champion our products and services to maximise sales opportunities.
Job requirements / Candidate profile
You are good at communicating with customers and have experience working in a fast paced customer service centre environment. Now you now want to join a business that will encourage your input, welcome your ideas and allow you to act on them. With GCSE’s in Maths & English (or equivalent), you will have well developed written and spoken English, goo! d customer service experience and strong communication skills.! You will also be effective at influencing others, presenting benefits and resolving problems. Able to pick up technical knowledge quickly, you will need to be flexible to work some Saturdays as overtime. A good time manager and team player you will also want to work in a competitive environment as well as grow and develop. You will be the sort of person who can lead from the front, delivering the ideas that will ensure we provide our customers with the very best business solutions.
