The Lead Project Analyst will be responsible for overall project management and execution from contract signing to completion and is a key member of the team committed to exceeding the cu! stomer's expectations. This role requires you to follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning and work effectively with other members of the project team.
Essential Responsibilities
Monitor & report projects data
Perform ERP transactions related to project initiation, item requisition, accounting and revenue recognition as directed by Project Management
Serve as the functional interface between the project management organization and information technology (IT) functions related to tools and process development
Coordinate program support activities, including the development of internal and external communications, establishing roadmaps and benchmarks, and developing the training plan
Lead the analysis, requirement development, design, documentation, implementation and maintenance of small to medium IT solutions for business processe! s
Work as a business partner with client leaders and ! users to evaluate / improve business processes and arrive at cost effective solutions
Maintain accuracy of projects data within Backlog Report (BLR)
Ongoing development and distribution of BLR
Assist Scheduler with project schedules and logistics coordination
Monitor and drive weekly submission of Project Reports
Assist management with miscellaneous data collection as required.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelorâs Degree in Business / Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Characteristics
Knowledge of project management tools and procedures
Experience in customer service, ERP system (preferably Oracle) and scheduling experience (preferably Primavera P6).
Highly motivated/pro-active mindset
Ability to communicate effectively at various levels of an organization
Ability to work within a multi-discipline, cross-functional t! eam
Experience using scheduling tools (MS Project or Excel)
Logistics experience.
