Solutions Management Support is responsible for
providing daily technical support for SM customer,
completing daily system checks and reports for all
managed clients, answeri! ng complex questions on function
and usage of product via the telephone and/or electronic
format. These issues may reside in both Hub and Spoke
Enterprise systems.
Must possess moderately strong analysis &
troubleshooting skills, excellent communication skills
are required, both written and verbal. Expertise within
the GXS product offering and the environments they
operate. They must possess and display an understanding
of application functionality, product architecture,
operating systems, and communication protocols. The
employee may be expected to provide additional resource
support after working hours, weekends and/or holidays,
under special situations.
They will also support the Onboarding team, check
integration files, attending conference calls with hubs
and answering complex questions on product function and
Hub specific business rules.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities include:

Provides technical support responding to main! tain
service levels within the managed service offering,
effectively troubleshooting both client and supplier
issues, providing issue resolution, and customer
notification. Recreates customer issues & escalates to
appropriate level.

Actively participates in self improvement, process, and
technology training programs.

Continually strives to expand comprehension of
troubleshooting methodologies, application
functionality, Freeway product knowledge, and operating
systems, as applicable

Work cross-functionally within the organisation, in a
team environment, to deliver quality, satisfaction, and
resolutions to the customers

Perform other/additional duties and projects that may be
periodically assigned.

Job Requirements:Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High School or Associate or Technical School degree
Usually requires 3 years or more of prod! uct support or
industry equivalent experience
Extensive ability to communicate and troubleshoot with
both a technical and non-technical audience.
Possess excellent written communication skills: Ability
to document effectively in the a case tracking system in
a succinct and clear way so others within the
organization understands the issue for follow through
and resolve
Possess professional oral communication skills: Ability
to articulate clearly, succinctly, and use good active
listening skills with customers. Foreign language
capabilities a plus.
Ability to effectively diagnose, evaluate, prioritize
and route issues reported; Previous experience in either
supporting or using a database application.

Desired Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Associate or 4 year degree in a related field
EDI experience
Strong experience working with at least two major
Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows - 2000, 2003, XP,
Client or Server).
Stron! g understanding in principles of at least one major
Communication Protocol: (Email (AS1), Http (AS2), FTPS
(AS3), SMTP, Async). Strong understanding in principles
of Network Infrastructures
Networking Technologies, Firewalls, Routers, Switches,
Security, Proxy Server, Load Balancer, TCP/Ip, LAN, WAN
