Within the UK Water Team in Leeds and Manchester we are looking for a Senior / Principal water modeller to work on projects involving water modelling for several of the major UK water companies.

Primary Job Responsibilities
You will be working on projects for Severn Trent Water, United Utilities, and other UK water companies. Responsibilities include:
Providing a Technical Lead role on projects involving clean water modelling including model build and maintenance projects, Zonal assessment / Network resilience and other ad-hoc modelling projects Providing expertise in the development of hydraulic models, strategic planning and design of water network solutions Supervising and assisting junior modellers within the Water team Writing and reviewing technical reports Project Managin! g modelling projects, ensuring delivery on time and within bud! get. Training and Experience Essential:
Extensive experience in clean water modelling packages such as: (SynerGEE/Infoworks WS/WaterGEMS) Good supervision and leadership skills Proficient in using GIS software such as Mapinfo/ArcGIS Excellent mathematical and computational skills Good report writing and presentation skills Experience of liaising with Clients and managing projects Relevant degree Other Essential Functions Desirable:
Experience of SynerGEE software Experience of hydraulic modelling for other applications such as water quality, network resilience, flushing programmes and surge analysis Experience of hydraulic calculations Experience of Visual Basic/Map Basic programming Gained (or in process of gaining) CIWEM / ICE accreditation Other Requirements Equal Opportunities JACOBS is an Equal Opportunities Employer and is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all.
