Our client, a market-leading ERP software provider, is currently recruiting for an Application Support Consultant to join their Professional Services Department to participate in a variety of presal! es and consultancy work. This is a new role to support the Principal Consultants from presale through to implementation on two of their new web-based products which are generating a lot of interest from the existing customer base.
The successful candidate will be involved with product demonstrations, analysis, configuration, QA testing, implementation and training. Responsibilities will also include producing specifications for developers, assembling and adapting code, query resolution, and liaison with support and development functions.
Applicants should have some experience with Java, HTML, CSS, Windows, Linux/UNIX, Oracle, JSP, HavaScript, Visual C++, SQL, Google Analytics and graphic design skills. Previous ERP experience would be an advantage. This role will involve some travel within the UK and overseas, so a valid driving licence is required.
Location: Buckinghamshire
Salary: £25k - £30k + car allowance + benefits
