Provide high quality technical advice relating to Structural Integrity to other parts of NNB and Design Authority to support the resolution of all design and safety case difficulties associated with building a fleet of EPR reactors in the UK.
Ensure the relevant technical support is provided to the EPR procurement strategy to support the construction phase of the New Build project.
Assist in the development of the site-specific safety case by providing specialist contributions and advice in the field of Structural Integrity.
Manage technical input to non-conformances and design changes for specified systems.
Work effectively with and maintain a strong relationship with the EDF Engineering organisation and regulatory bodies in all areas related to Structural Integrity.
Specify, manage and co-ordinate support from other external organisations in the field of Structural Integrity.
Develop and assist in resolution of commitments made in GDA for Structural Integrity issues.
Support the lead engineer by monitoring and advising on strategy, resources, processes, business plan, budgets and activities relating to Structural Integrity.
Actively participate in line accountability sessions to support technical and resource management within Design Authority and NNB.
Assist with the development of technical and non-technical procedures as required to support Design Authority in discharging its responsibilities.
