The role will support the Senior Programme Manager with the development and delivery of the FLDP strategy. Enabling the delivery of a consistent pipeline of high calibre talent across functional, specialist and leadership talent streams for Retail and Business Banking. The job holder will take full accountability for the end to end programme management for one of the FLDP programme streams

Key Accountabilities

(Ideally 4-10 points, or headings with sub-points. Quantify where possible e.g. cost/income budget, no of subordinates, likely no of yrs/mths to complete longest task. Could note key external/internal lateral relationships) Attraction/Campus (20%)

Responsible for ensuring that their requirements are advised for all marketing and screening activities on a global basis including demand numbers, candidate profiles etc

Lead business engagement for their area in order to ensure appropriate content/copy for campaign materials (e.g. web & brochure content)

Play a key role in the annual campus strategy for GRB at each target school, including attendance at fairs, presentation delivery, skills sessions etc

Support on the implementation of the FLDP attraction strategy including targeting specific audiences for individual programmes (e.g. Spring, Summer Internships, Technology) and geographic regions

Engagement with business areas to identify suitable campus ambassadors to help deepen relationships at core universities and strengthen the GRB brand on campus.

Selection (25%)

Responsible for ensuring that business demand numbers are achieved for their area including management of candidate pipelines (across insight, internships and graduate populations), regular engagement with RPO and liaison back to the Attraction team to instigate additional activity where required.

Accountable for ensuring that the selection processes are delivered consistently and feedback executed in line with agreed service standards across all relevant geographies.

Responsible for co-coordinating and facilitating assessment centres, ensuring appropriate business assessors are identified, trained and briefed.

Monitor and review weekly MI to ensure recruitment targets are met.

Provide regular status updates to key business leads on progress of recruitment trends for chosen business areas.

Programme Management (50%)

Act as the main point of contact for the FLDP cohort and programme stakeholders(e.g. Line Managers, Mentors and Buddies)

Manage each cohort and ensures appropriate learning opportunities and interventions are in place to accelerate the progression of the FLDP talent pool and ensures the strategic objectives of the programmes are delivered.

Engage with business areas to understand demand requirements providing expertise on all graduate recruitment and development matters.

Manage the rotational change process in line with strategic business needs, working in partnership with global mobility on international assignments.

Project Manage the performance management process for each cohort in line with GRB performance management guidelines.

Manage the pay/bonus cycle for the FLDP cohort

Provide pro-active career development support playing a pivotal role in on the off boarding process supporting and facilitating their permanent role search.

Identify appropriate destination roles and work with key business stakeholders to identify appropriate placements to maximize their potential during the two year formal programme.

In partnership with the GRB talent team devise appropriate tracking mechanisms to monitor progression following completion of the FLDP programme

Be the main point of contact for all FLDP activities for your chosen business areas - Spring Insight, Interns and Graduates

Provide regular HR support and advise to graduates and interns during their programmes to ensure we have clarity regarding career plans and aspirations

Provide advice and support to Line managers in improving and developing colleagues performance within the business area

Support the FLDP Development Manager with the Global and BU induction programmes and provide input into the design and content for the leadership and functional learning curriculum's when needed.

Ensure appropriate governance and controls are in place and maintain accurate and up to date management information

Maintain key relationships with the HR, L & D, Talent and Resourcing Centre's of Excellence and ensure activities are aligned appropriately.

Monitor and track FLDP budgetary spent for your chosen business area in line with MTP commitments.

Project Role (5%)

Supports/Manages wider FLDP team projects where required e.g. Summer Internships, school leavers and apprenticeships

Participates in wider Talent and Performance activities for the group as and when required.

Person Specification

Demonstrable understanding of the Graduate marketplace

Knowledge of key universities and business schools

Good level of business and industry acumen

Proven Experience of Programme Managing graduate development programme's and coaching emerging talent.

Experience of managing high volume recruitment campaigns

Ability to solve problems independently and a high level of learning agility

Exceptional service orientation with a deep spike in getting things done/responsiveness

Strong teaming skills, proven track record of managing stakeholders and strong relationship building skills.

Good communication and influence skills.
