Job Summary:As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, supporting chefs and ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include basic food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with various tasks to guarantee a high standard of kitchen efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and preparing mise en place.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items.
- Support kitchen staff in various tasks as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and sanitation standards.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless workflow.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
