Repair Customer Care Handler


 
Location: Leicester
Hybrid Working (1 day week in the office after training)
£21,400-£23,100 (Depending on experience)
Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm (No weekends)
We have an exciting opportunity at Hastings Direct to be part of your newly formed claims team in Leicester. This role is customer-centric, requiring you to provide excellent claims service to our customers, helping effectively progress their claims through the repair journey.
No experience is required! If you have Customer Service experience, we can provide you with all the training, tools and support needed to begin your career in Insurance and claims.

What will you be doing?
  • Making our customers claim repair journey as smooth as possible by proactively chasing updates from suppliers, updating, and setting expectations with our customers, to settle claims at the earliest opportunity.
  • Validating claims and policies.
  • Ensuring system information is up to date and accurate.
  • Demonstrating effective planning and organisational skills.
  • Making and taking calls from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working towards department and business targets.
  • Referring any suspected fraud cases to our Specialist Unit.
  • Payment processing.
