The AR Officer will work across the business to carry out the following responsibilities:

We're looking for a highly organized and efficient operator who can quickly learn our accounts receivable processes and look after the following for our customers:Raise invoices for software renewals
Monitor our accounts receivable position
Communicate via email with our customers and internal teams on unpaid invoices
Complete vendor onboarding processes such as registering for online services and completing ad hoc forms
Responding to customer support tickets related to invoices and payments
Reconcile all revenue transactions in Xero with a high degree of accuracy
Perform month end accounting for accounts receivable and deferred income
Monitor Paypal accounts
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills and work well as part of a team in a high-growth environment.

The AR Officer role requires:

At least 2 - 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is prefered but non CPAs are welcome to apply
Preferably has experience working with the Tech and SaaS industry
with at least one year AU accounting experience
Experience in using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero is a must
Preferably with experience using Hubdoc, Zendesk, Jira, and Microsoft 365 Suite, Vacation Tracker, Slack
Familiar with US Vat Returns and AU GST returns
Familiar with processing payroll under the UK, US, and AU tax laws
Competency with ERP systems and adapting to new software
Confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders both internal and external
Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Team player, with the ability to multi-task, as well as flexible and can work under pressure and minimum supervision
Be able to pick up tasks assigned quickly and with minimal errors
Confidence with taking online calls i.e. Zoom for both internal and external
Self-driven and highly motivated
Can start ASAP
