This position is available to work from home in California only.Plans and facilitates the collection of business requirements, analyzes the quality of data flowing within the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, reviews and analyzes customer account statements and credit reports and conducts reconciliation activities in support of improving data quality for Sutter Health systems in order to provide payment strategies for resolution to leadership. Monitors systems for data quality, efficiency, operation, and data integrity. Is responsible for database testing, training, data analysis, ensuring effect data management throughout Accounts Payable. Produce reports of accounts that are in arrears to prepare analyses and reconciliations of bills to detect misapplied or erroneous payments. Request additional support documentation from customers as needed and/or work with customer websites to obtain deduction documentation. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with external and internal customers. Responsibilities also include; updating claim information using multiple systems and tools; debit and credit customer's accounts as appropriate; update customer(s) regarding pending claims; research and resolve other general customer account inquiries as appropriate.
3 years of progressively responsible experience in an accounts payable function is highly desired.
2 years experience working with invoice and payment processing systems and document scanning tools is also highly preferred.

HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
EXPERIENCE
2 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Working knowledge of accounts payable functions, processes and terminologies.
Ability to read, comprehend, interpret and apply policies, procedures, practices, and recordkeeping requirements.
Knowledge of applicable IRS 1099 regulations and reporting requirements, and/or Stark Law.
Ability to compute and apply basic mathematical functions and computations, including percentages, decimals and prorated amounts.
Ability to use keyboard by touch to input alphanumeric data.
Ability to reconcile and balance numerical data.
Demonstrates critical thinking skills with the ability to recognize questionable information/data, and to determine solution or next steps.
Ability to communicate through verbal and written means, and to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
Organization skills and attention to details.
Displays a customer service focus in all decisions and actions.
Ability to prioritize workload to complete assignments accurately and timely
Ability to interact and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.

Pay Range: $29.56 - $42.87 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
