To support disengaged and disadvantaged 18-24 year olds living in Worcestershire to participate effectively in positive activities with the aim of improving their employability and accessing employment, through the ! provision of information, support and signposting to create a seamless, individually tailored journey.
The Key Worker will manage a caseload of young people, tailoring the journey to meet the needs of individual young people, by providing access to interventions and support at the right time, including training, mentoring, access to volunteering and employment related support. . The service will aim to facilitate the transition into sustained work for individuals whilst according with contractual requirements and targets.
Shaw Trust, as lead partner in Talent Match Worcestershire, holds contractual accountability with the Big Lottery Fund and will therefore be responsible to monitoring delivery to ensure that it is operating to achieve agreed outcomes.
The positions are permanent, 36.5 hours per week Mon-Fri. There are four positions available and the sucessful candidates will be allocated to one of the following three businesses
x2 posit! ions with Hope Unlimited (x1 based in Malvern, x1 based in Kid! derminster)
x1 position with St. Basil's based in Bromsgrove
x1 position with Worcester YMCA in Worcester
Candidates will be expected to provide cover in the surrounding areas
