We provide a range of Personal and Social Education opportunities for young people in the 13-19 age range through activity based youth work and targeted work with young people some with high needs, which is delivered from a variety of venues, including youth centres and in the community. We work with other agencies including the police, health and education services.
You won’t need qualifications as training will be provided. We are far more interested in your life experiences, your empathy and your ability to relate and engage with young people between the ages of 10 and 19. The work can be challenging at times but very rewarding. The post holder will be supported by a qualified professional youth worker at all times. There are two posts available, both for one 3 hour evening session per week.
An enhanced DBS list check will be required for this role.
