Job Profile:
A vacancy has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer to work within the Heavy Products division of my client.
The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting quality, cost and growth requirements within the business.
This will be a challenging and exciting role during a period of significant growth and new model introduction.
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Welding and Fabrication processes in a medium volume manufacturing environment is essential.
A knowledge of lean techniques and processes.
New model introduction.
Identifying and implementing of process improvements.
Generating and maintaining ! Standard Operating Procedures.
Capital equipment spec! ification and procurement.
Project management.
Support to daily operations.
The candidate should possess well developed communication and influencing skills, a good sense of urgency, flexibility, versatility and commitment.
Minimum HNC or equivalent is desirable under pinned with some experience in a similar role.
P.C. literacy is essential.
Job Description:
You will need to be able to work as an active member of a team and on your own initiative with minimum supervision.
Basic Hours: 39 hours per week. Start time of 8:30am Monday to Friday.
Salary/Rate: Up to £36,000 per annum
Fringe Benefits: Pension Scheme, Health Scheme.
Relocation: Negotiable- generally covering all physical relocation costs.
If relocation costs are required, then this must be within twenty miles of the client site.
