As the Section Manager at Leith Service Building, you will lead and manage a team to deliver department KPIs and outstanding customer service. You will have responsibility d! emonstrating commitment to controlling stock loss and accuracy, developing high standards of driving and customer service, enforcing legal compliance, achieving high levels of productivity and delivering the Partnership commitments on CO2.
You will be working with the Operations Manager in formulating, implementing and achieving the branch business plan and targets. As the Section Manager, you will be playing a vital role in managing the branch and coming up with fresh ideas to achieve results.
Applicants should have a proven track record of success in a leadership role, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members as well as possessing the confidence to tackle any performance concerns honestly.
Job Requirements
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a team to achieve targets and deliver outstanding customer service whilst maintaining the Partnership core values, behaviours and principles.
• Adopt a resourceful and flexi! ble approach to manage the broad challenges the delivery hub m! ight present.
• Be proactive in building effective working relationships with a remote management team and with the Distribution network.
• Ability to communicate across all mediums with confidence, using clear and simple language.
• Has knowledge of legal compliance within driving, workplace and transport regulations.
• Applicants will be required to use PC based systems so basic computer skills would be an advantage but training will be provided.
• Retail culture is driven by customer demand and therefore, there will be a requirement for flexibility with working hours at peak times.
