An opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and motivated person to Manage the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms. In parallel with a review of the medium to long term management of this popular visitor and community facility, a manager is sought to undertake the day-to-day operation of the Centre, taking responsibility for the organisation of its staffing, through the administration of its operational processes all working towards the provision of an excellent service to its visitors and users. The appointment will be for an initial 9 months, and the successful candidate is expected to be a quick learner who is able both to run administrative processes on an individual basis, while also being able to work directly and effectively with Centre users and other individuals and organisations within the community.
