Description: Castle Employment Agency is presently looking of Chef de Partie right now, this position will be placed in England. Our client, a locally owned, family run business, are looking for a Chef de Partie who has previous experience of working within a busy kitchen environment to join their team on a permanent basis. Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, cooking and presentation are maintained, you will be responsible for producing true English pub classics as well as a la carte dishes. The food will be high quality traditionally cooked food, which is all locally sourced. You will be mainly preparing lunches and evening meals, however, the work could involve preparing breakfasts if working on a weekend shift. You must ensure you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety. Your role would consist of preparing and cooking starters, main courses and desserts from fresh produce. The role will include working split shifts from 9am - 2.30pm/3pm and also 5pm - 10pm, during the week and on weekends. Working 5 days out of 7, you must be flexible with working hours. Qualifications/Experience ââ¬Â¢You must have previous proven experience of working within a chef capacity within a busy kitchen environment ââ¬Â¢Must have excellent time keeping, organisation and communication skills ââ¬Â¢Must be able to work well within a team and individually ââ¬Â¢A flexible attitude to working hours ââ¬Â¢Knowledge of Food Hygiene, health and safety
