The London Banking and Capital Markets (B&CM) division is currently looking for Risk Assurance Senior Associates, Managers and Senior Managers to join their growing team. Investment Banks / Retail Banks; Mortgage Lenders; Brokers and Dealers; Exchanges; and Regulators and other Financial Intermediaries.

To instil confidence in customers, colleagues, investors and anyone else with an interest in their success, organisations need to demonstrate that, whatever threats they might face, they have a plan in place to deal with them. In Risk Assurance (RA) itÂ's our job to help them develop those plans. In the simplest terms, we help clients to identify measure and manage their risks more effectively. Our specialist knowledge extends to clientsÂ' internal controls (including IT systems), technology, non-financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. We also provide a variety of internal audit services.

We are currently looking for Senior Associate , Manager and Senior Manager level candidates with relevant skills and experience to join our Information Technology Assurance practice.

Our Information Technology Assurance practice combines strategy, governance, audit, technical and risk management expertise and fall broadly within the following areas:

Information Security Management; IT Governance, Risk and Compliance; Information Risk Assurance; Identity and Access Management; Architecture, Network and Application Security; Threat and Vulnerability Management; Data Governance / Management; Project Assurance; and Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery.

We are currently experiencing strong demand for these services. We require experienced candidates to deliver complex engagements as well as developing market place profile for themselves and the firm and building sustainable client relationships.

Candidates should have a proven track record of delivering complex engagements and should either have experience of developing new business in a professional services firm or the credibility and drive to do so.

The applicant should have significant understanding of recent developments in information security, IT risk and IT security issues, preferably as they relate to the banking sector but not essential, gained through either holding a position within a banking or capital markets organisation, or through the delivery of such services for a professional services firm. Candidates will use this knowledge in the delivery of professional services to clients and to help develop and evolve the firmÂ's services. Management skills will also allow successful project management of a number of teams simultaneously and the coaching and development of those teams.

Requirements

Essential skills:
Demonstrable skills in the following areas are required for this position:

A relevant professional qualification (i.e. CA, IISP, CISA, CISSP, CIA or CISM); Exceptional client relationship skills A proven track record of experience in the areas described above from either a big 4 practice, consulting or from within the Banking & Capital Markets sector; The ability to lead and work successfully in and across teams; The ability to manage across multiple complex projects.

Desirable general skills:
A strong personal network and the ability to play a significant role in the development of new business; Strong business awareness, sound reporting skills and the ability to work under your own initiative; and The ability to apply independent judgement during engagements and to support conclusions reached to senior level personnel both internally and externally.

Desirable technical skills:
Desirable technical skills for this position include, but are not limited, to any of the following:

Strategic IT Planning / Information Security Strategy; Risk and Regulatory Frameworks (ITIL, CobIT, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS etc); Risk Based Information Assurance; Risk Assessment Analysis; Threat and Vulnerability Management; Security Organisational Design; Security Governance and Reporting; Security Roles and Responsibilities; Security Policies and Procedures; Security benchmarking and future state modelling; and Data Governance / Management (Security, Quality and Analytics).

A grounding in information security technical skills, including, but not limited to the following:

Operating Systems (Windows, Unix, Linux, Virtualisation, etc); Databases (Oracle, SQL etc); Networks (LAN and WLAN) and Network Infrastructure (Routers, Firewalls, Switches etc); Security controls assessment technologies (e.g. Data Loss Prevention).
