For detail informations about this career opportunity kindly read the description below. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality and Regulatory Officer to join us at our site in Nottingham. You will provide support to the Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager to help ensure that all Quality and Regulatory aspects of the site operate effectively, and meet local and Merck Corporate requirements and goals.
Working as part of a small team, you will help en! sure that the company remains compliant with QA, environmental, national and international trade regulations
You will assist the QA Manager to develop and implement programs to establish and maintain quality, environmental and regulatory standards of existing products and services. Your tasks include elaborating policies, procedures and methods to check products, materials and operational processes and to improve same.
You will prepare and carry out internal audits as per schedule, and report your findings.
You will ensure that the daily Trade Compliance and Regulatory tasks are completed according to defined procedures.
As a specialist you solve a range of straightforward problems through knowledge, analytical skills and experience and ensure the adherence of guidelines and processes for your area of responsibility.
Applying your know-how and judgement you analyze factual information and possible solutions and make decisions and! recommendations and thereby contribute to the effectiveness o! f the team and achievement of our objectives.
Our requirements:
- Graduate degree (or equivalent)
- Relevant professional experience in quality or regulatory role
- None graduate applicants will need to show additional professional experience in quality or regulatory with evidence of relevant training in these areas.
- Internal Auditor experience would be a desirable
- Practical experience of Trade Compliance or Import/Export Regulations would be desirable
- A clear communicator in both spoken and written English.
- An eye for detail and an enquiring mind.
- Open to new perspectives and ideas developed through working with colleagues across a Global business.
- Ability to establish a good level of cooperation with colleagues on different levels of hierarchy.
- Flexibility and keen pursuit of innovation throughout all processes in the continuous ! search of sustainable new ideas.
