Full time Registered General Nurse required for our 36-bedded care home in Bexhill- on-Sea in East Sussex.
We are dual registered for both Nursing and Residential care. The candidate must hold a current NMC PIN. You must be aware of the health issues for older people, have extended clinical skills such as venepuncture, catheterisation, peg feeds, medication and have a good knowledge of care planning and risk assessments. You must be aware of the Health & Social Care Act 2008, and be able to demonstrate an awareness of CQC requirements and achieving outc! omes.
You will need good levels of communication skil! ls both oral and written and be able to lead and supervise a team of care staff and be able to liaise with the wider management team and with other health professionals as well as communicating effectively with the residents and their relatives. You must be aware of Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults policies and whistleblowing procedures. You must be able to work within the NMC codes of conduct We offer good levels of training and support to our staff. You will need to demonstrate how you meet your CPD and NMC registration.
The post will be subject to two satisfactory references and a DBS enhanced disclosure. Unfortunately we are unable to obtain sponsorship for work permits.
