Our client is looking for a talented, enthusiastic graphic designer with solid! web experience gained in a busy commercial online environment to join their forward thinking team.
Candidates for the role of Graphic Designer must be highly creative and be up-to-date with the latest web trends and technologies.
Key responsibility is to design and maintain all digital content; primarily this will be our clients website but will encompass other graphics, images, banner adverts, logos, icons, HTML emails, animation, and interactive elements and microsites which effectively communicate our clients brand and messaging.
Essential abilities and skills:
- Advanced knowledge of graphics software packages for creating web graphics, layouts and image editing (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator)
- A good understanding of modern UI design methods, and UX principles, and best practices in the development of web interfaces
- Good understanding of HTML and CSS including the ability to hand code
- Good understanding o! f application design
- Ability to collaborate with fron! t and back end web developers when implementing designs
- Good conceptual skills for wireframing and use of prototyping tools
- Smarty templates
- Twitter Bootstrap
