The Vendor Technology Partner Specialist role will maximise the commercial benefit derived from our relationship with key vendors! by collaborating on sales opportunites and increasing our market share as specifically aligned to a named vendor.

Roles & Responsibilities

Business enablement (30%)
Management and growth of pipeline and forecast
Owner of Technology Partner growth business/marketing plans
Effective mapping of opportunities and communication
Engagement with Commercial and Operations Director for programme principles/funding
Engage and enable Partner Management support

Sell to vendors (30%)
Selling Computacenter strategy to Vendor Senior Management and Sales force
Being fully conversant with Computacenter propositions and how these apply to aligned Technology Partner
Proactive engagement with vendor management and sales teams, driving Computacenter and Vendor salesforce alignment
Be a source of expertise to the vendor of working with Computacenter
Develop and drive an accelerated partnering programme between Vendor and Computa! center sales teams to maximise growth opportunity
Drive an! d run joint account planning sessions ensuring all opportunities identified are followed up

Sell to customers (30%)
Be a source of expertise to the sales force of working with aligned Technology Partner
Select, agree and run major/growth opportunities with Vendor and Computacenter sales teams driving the partnering programme
Provide deal support to the Solutions Specialist and Account Management community as part of the virtual team engaged on the opportunity
Use the appropriate alignment of Vendor and Computacenter products and services to meet the customer's needs and maximise the opportunity for both organisations
Ensure commercially compelling pricing and margin is applied to each opportunity

Management (10%)
Manage opportunity pipeline and forecast against revenue target
Manage big bets and sales incentives
Identify wins/losses for aligned Vendor and lessons learnt
Ensure business plan is up to date and updated in l! ine with changes to Computacenter and Vendor proposition and technology developments

Key Requirements

Essential:
Significant expertise in vendor and its products/services
Extensive end user sales and campaign experience
Proven track record of sales growth and achievement
Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Computacenter Solutions and Service offerings and how these align to the vendor
Ability to build effective and constructive relationships in customers and vendors at all levels
Ability to work in a virtual team
An enthusiastic, creative & dynamic attitude reflected in a ‘make it happen’ approach
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate our propositions in a compelling way both orally & written
Good presentation skills
Negotiation and influencing skills applied across various customer organisations
Very good team skills & confident in influencing a diverse audience Educated to A-level or equivalent

Desirable:
Busi! ness development experience
Good technical understanding
Partnering programme management experience
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Product marketing experience
