The Institute of Railway Research (IRR) is looking for professional engineers with an eye to the future. Whether it is helping to solve the engineering challenges of today’s railway or ! conducting research to shape the future of the industry, you will enjoy a variety of technical challenges.
The IRR provides a range of specialist railway industrial R&D in areas which include rail vehicle dynamics, wheel-rail interface engineering and predictive maintenance. We also work with industrial and academic research partners across Europe on a variety of projects which will influence the future development of rail transport.
To take advantage of this offer, you will need to have a strong academic track record together with excellent technical skills and an enthusiasm for new challenges.
A good first degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject is an essential requirement for this role.
