Research Associate/Statistician

Location: Cambridge England

Description: University of Cambridge is at present looking to employ Research Associate/Statistician right now, this vacancy will be placed in England. A Statistician is required to work on the PGSNPS and RAPPER projects involving the large scale association study of chemotherapy side-effects, treatment response (PGSNPS) and late side effects after radiotherapy treatment (RAPPER). The successful applicant will be involved in the analysis of genetic association, epidemiological and other clinical studies and will collaborate with other groups in the international consortia involved in these studies. The post-holder will be encouraged to develop novel statistical methodology and related research interests. Candidates should have an MSc or PhD in statistics, epidemiology or genetic epidemiology, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of Stata, R and SQL is highly desirable. Part-time applications will be considered.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 1 year in the first instance.
